1, 2, 3, I’ll be there…

Today it’s the big day, our trip to Mumbai starts early in the morning. Although my alarm was set on 4:30, I really woke up an hour later! Oops! So in a hurry I just packed everything I needed and run off to the U-bahn. At 7:00 I got to the Airport where Sinem was waiting for me, so everything just as planned…

At least till I found out, I forgot my toiletry/ travel bag… it was still hanging in my bathroom… A quick check, what was in there I really needed on the trip I couldn’t buy in India??? OMG the Pill!!! Not that I fancy to have sex there, but having my period there didn’t sound that attractive either…
So now what? I called the health insurance, they had such a great answer: ‘Ow, noo. That really sucks! So I guess you will have to find yourself condoms then…’ Just such a great, honest and funny answer!
Then a call to my Doctor, she subscribed me a receipt and send it me by email. After we found the pharmacy on Munich airport, I got my Pills. Now the journey really can start!

The flight was peanuts, it didn’t felt like a long time. I liked the gadget that we could see on the cameras on the plain, so we had a great view by the start and the landing (see pics). Before we knew it we were already going down. Although the landing wasn’t “a dream” it was great to be finely be at ground. At the tunnel leading inside to the airport we fist could experience the humidity in Mumbai. When we got outside, with visa stamps and our luggage, we noticed how humid it was. Completely happy to be there, feeling a bit surreal, we started to sing some of our favourite songs. We sang “Count on me” from Bruno Mars. I have the feeling this song is going to be our accompany during this trip... 1,2,3, we are there ;)
